Alan Clancy

Having immigrated to New York from a cattle farm in the West of Ireland, Alan never felt comfortable at a desk in a Manhattan skyscraper. His yearning for a connection with home moved him to a career promoting and designing Celtic jewelry. While travelling throughout the US, Alan draws inspiration from meeting people who want to reconnect with their heritage. On sketchbooks in coffee shops he makes drawings which inspire the final designs exquisitely crafted by Dublin goldsmiths.
